Source: early-onset-of-nightTattoo artist Ryan Fitzgerald from Dayton, OH was hit with a $100,000 lawsuit last week by his ex-girlfriend Rossie Brovent. She claims that her boyfriend was supposed to tattoo a scene from Narnia on her back but instead tattooed an image of a pile of excrement with flies buzzing around it.
Apparently, Ryan found out that Rossie had cheated with a long-time friend of his, but instead of confronting her about it he acted like everything was normal and hatched a plan for revenge. Originally, Rossie tried to have Ryan charged with assault, but the ingenious tattoo artist had covered his bases by plying Rossie with wine and tequila shots and getting her to sign a consent form that stated the design was “at the artist’s discretion.”
No word from Rossie on whether the illicit night of passion with Ryan’s friend was worth it. Moral of the story? Never cheat on a tattoo artist.

I am all about helping the earth and people. On November 30th I took part in the Free the Children’s campaign called The Vow of Silence.
Everyday millions of children are silenced because they are subjected to exploitation, poverty, and the denial of their basic rights. The Vow of Silence is Free the Children’s annual fundraising and awareness-raising campaign that engages tens of thousands of participants to stand up for children whose rights are not being upheld.
People who participant in this campaign cannot talk, text, email, use social media, and some people even chose to not use hand gestures or write for 24 hours. The also raise money and help bring awareness for this campaign.
I raised a total of $120 which gave an entire family fresh water and food. I felt amazing after those 24 hours! Knowing that I helped provide a family with fresh water and food, which is something that I have easy access to every day.. And so do you. Every penny helps towards those families, whether it’s giving them water or even just supplies, like a pencil, so they can learn to write at school if they go to one. Free the Child has many other campaigns like this one, including We Day. I recommend that everyone should either part take in one for at least donate! You are making a difference in a child’s life who is forced to not have a childhood because they have no say in what happens to them.
I will definitely be doing this again, and I hope you do to!
Be the change you want to see in the world.

By Helen Shen
Underwater earthquake recordings could help track the endangered and poorly understood fin whale, according to research presented here last week at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union. Most quake researchers cull the whale’s booming calls from their seafloor recordings. But one group of seismologists has flipped things around to harvest an extensive repertoire of fin whale songs.
The second-largest among whales, fin whales (Balaenoptera physalus) live in many of the world’s oceans. Yet, relatively little is known about their social habits, breeding grounds, and seasonal migration paths. The animals stick mostly to deep waters far offshore, so following them by visual surveys and radio tagging can be difficult and costly.
Seismologist William Wilcock of the University of Washington, Seattle, wondered if there was a better way. From 2003 to 2006, his group had measured undersea earthquakes that occur as new sea floor forms. Implanted in the ocean floor, their seismic detectors also picked up fin whale calls, which—at 17 to 35 hertz—overlap in frequency with Earth’s rumblings. To extract earthquake information efficiently, the group developed computer programs to detect and filter out whale songs…

I live by this quote every single day. If you want to do something then do it, if you want to change something then change it. Become your dream, be the dream you want. ☮
Hi :)
My name is Natasha and I am 19 years old! I was born and raised in Ajax Ontario. I am the youngest of three children! I have an older brother named Christopher, who is 27, and an older sister named Stephanie, who is 25. My parents have been happily married for 28 years :)
My brother has been married to my sister-in-law, Krista, for 3 years now and they have a beautiful baby boy, named Dominic, who is turning 2 this January! My brother and I have an interesting relationship and I feel like it is this way because there is a 9 yr gap between us. When I was younger we got along great, he would come home from school and play with me and he would always babysit me; but this soon changed. As soon as he hit high school we stopped getting along. He became an, well, a**hole! We constantly fought over everything possible! I hated being around him! My parents had this joke that as soon as my brother turned 16 he was moving out so I waited till the day he turned 16! It was his 16th birthday and I had made him a card saying “You are now 16, when are you moving out?” To my surprise, he never moved out and I was quite disappointed lol But one day I stood up for myself and told him off and my parents and I were very proud that I did that. We now get along, to an extent, but we don’t fight as much as we used to but I still love him.
My sister, Stephanie, is my best friend. She was born with a hole in her heart, and scoliosis. When she was only 2 years old she had open heart surgery, and at the time that was extremely young to have open heart surgery! She still struggles with her heart condition, having regular check ups and taking daily medication. Because of this heart defect she is unable to have kids, which is a very devastating thing, so I stepped up and said that I would be her surrogate mother! And because of the complications my mom went through with her labor my sister now has a slight learning disability; they say it is because she didn’t get as much oxygen as she needed when she was born. It was very hard for my family to have this happen to one of their children but we all try not to think about it and just live our lives like there is nothing wrong! My sister and I are inseparable! We do everything together so it is no surprise that when I decided to go to a University that is 5 hours away from home it was hard for us! But we Skype and text all the time and yeah it’s not the same but we are getting used to it.
Now me, I’m just someone trying to make it through University! Lol My parents were very nervous about having a child after everything that happened with my sister. They tried about a year later and my mother could not get pregnant… To their surprise, about 6 years later, they found out that they were pregnant with another child! I had no complications or anything, I was born a healthy child :) Growing up, because of the age gap with me and my siblings, I was either playing by myself (that is another long story I will talk about later!) and because my brother and sister would never hangout with me if we went to our friends cottage we went to a few times every summer I would be hanging out with adults. I feel like because of that I became a very independent child and have a lot of characteristics as an only child does. I also believe that this is the reason why I was able to go to a University that was so far away from home at a young age. I go to the University of Windsor and I am a second year Music therapy student. I absolutely LOVE my program and cannot wait to go out there and start working!
I know this was long but I hope you liked learning about me and my siblings :) This is all for now! Let me know what you thought and what you would like me to post! Toodles! :)
